Particle Effects
We implemented several effects. The shredder particle effect when a package gets thrown into the garbage bin, the thruster effect beneath the trucks and the dust cloud when a package gets dropped
Speeding up belts
We made sure the belts mesh speed up the same as the belts, this is not perfect yet. At some point the belts mesh goes way faster then the belt. Still needs some tweaking.
Strikes
To give more of a challenge towards the player, we added a some sort of life system. Make 3 mistakes and you're out! So make sure you don't shred the wrong package, and deliver the right package to the right truck!
New button
We also added the new button model along with some lights for it to show it it's on or off!
Art:
Some final touches are being made on the FX. Small tweaks and scaling to make it fit nicely. We made a small particle of electricity going around the magnet arm to indicate that it's grabbing something..
We attached the air swoosh particle to the arms and decided that we would use it as a general trail effect, besides the intended up and down effect.
Shredder goes brrrrr
Decals are now added to the level!
And as you may notice, the lighting got a big update as well. Pretty confident with how it's looking at the moment. So maybe a few small changes might happen but nothing major.
