Controls:

We reworked the controls for the 3rd time to be even more simple to use for new players. All interactions now happen with one button and one button only. When the button on the controller is pressed, the piston extends, when pressed again, it will retract. If the grabber claw finds a package, it will pick it up. If is has a package, it will drop it with the same button. As for the pusher, it will press an intractable button on it's own when it reaches it and it will retract in it's own.

Meshes:

We also finally added the meshes for the grabber and pusher in the game:

Art:

We started working further on some more FX. So, we made a small particle effect that would be used with the engine  thrusters of the trucks. These are fairly simple since they will be quite small on screen and a bit hidden underneath the trucks. We also made a small particle flipbook  for a dust cloud. If a box or the pusher arm hits the ground or belt a dust cloud will appear to make it more interesting. This was a 4x4 flipbook  handpainted in photoshop.

Some air swooshes which are going to be visible when a magnet or pusher arm moves up and down.

2D art:

As you might have noticed, the itch got a little overhaul! There's finally some 2d art made for the game such as a logo, banner and start screen.

So this is the clean logo without any belts, bit it can be combined like seen below.

This is the current start screen for the game. It's representing a real website, with a top bar, sroll wheel and of course ads! Later on we'll integrate ads from other games that are being developed.

3D Assets:

We created some spinning lights which are supposed to make it clearer where the players have to transfere the packages to. Fitting to the lights, we added some LEDs to the packages for better visibility.
