Programming:

On the coding side, not too much has changed, it was mainly bug fixing.

We also re implemented the garbage collection, which is a sort of shredder. 

And the controls are changed once again, now the grabber goes back up automatically.

The scoring should also work fine now, it tracks how many you had right, how many you threw in the shredder, the amount of mistakes you made and how many you left behind.

Speeding up belts overtime

After some feedback, they told us to make it a bit harder as we go on, because you already know the controls by then. That's why we chose to speed up the belts overtime, so the longer you play, the faster they go.

Speeding up the spawning

We thought it would also be challenging if the packages came faster and faster.

Spawning

We added back the garbage package to the spawning routine. This way there is more to do in the level.

Pause Menu

The pause menu works now. We figured out the bug of last week. Now we you can pause the game, resume, restart and quit from the pausemenu.


Art:

After re implementing the garbage mechanic again, we decided to create a shredder instead of just a garabge bin. We created the new model and animated it.



We also created a model for the track changer button.



As well as a conveyor door, to help the players be more aware of where the packages come from.


Some more FX were made. The engine thruster from last time didn't fit the style of the dust cloud. So, we made a different one that fits it more.

We also made a new particle for when bad packages get dropped in the garbage bin. Since the package will just disappear, we want to hide that happening behind a particle of smoke.

Decals are all setup and ready to be placed in the level


This is the current level, lots of changes in the decoration and lighting!


Also the start page got some more attention, there are Icons now and also clearify the quit button more, all it needs now are some ads.
